History of AGA

Andrew Garte & Associates, Inc. was established in 1993 to fill a void in senior level comprehensive environmental management consulting, including both environmental program development and implementation of environmental management plans. The company was founded by Andrew Garte who has drawn on his years of experience to develop a corporation that provides environmental consulting services including NEPA, environmental management, liability management, and site investigation and characterization services to private industry, law firms, investment and insurance organizations, and government entities.

AGA has established a reputation for providing quality services on-time and within budget. Our steady and deliberate growth focuses on those services which have always been our strengths (environmental assessments, investigations, remedial planning and liability management) while expanding into related markets (risk assessment, risk based closures and brownfields, wetlands, rare, threatened and endangered species, and cultural resource management, archaeological, and cultural assessments). AGA is confident in our ability to provide the highest quality comprehensive environmental and cultural resources management consulting to serve all of our client's needs.
